Prayer Class for children 4-10 years old was held on June 6, 2010. Each child was given “homework” to do to write a letter to God. Here is an example of one letter to God done by a 6 year old.

UMW Annual Salad Luncheon

The Salad Luncheon was attended by nearly 150 women. This year's presentation was "Weddings of the Past" presented by Goodwill.

Confirmation Group Fellowship

Monday April 26ths was a night of fellowship and fun for the confirmation group. Weather wasn't the warmest but everyone had fun!

Annual Spaghetti Dinner

Our annual Spaghetti Dinner held April 24th which raised money for the youth mission trips this summer to Mountain T.O.P (Jr. High) and an Indian reservation in MN (Sr. High).

Lost Boy's of Sudan Speaker

Sunday April 11th, Jok Kuol Wel told his story of how he and 40,000 Sudanese boys age 5-13 spent 3 months running from war in Sudan and what he is doing to help his home country now. It was a frightening ordeal to say the least. About 60 people from our church and the community attended this event sponsored by the United Methodist Women.

Despite the cloudy, windy 54 degree weather, there were lots of bargins to be had at our Rummage & brat sale today raising money for the youth mission trips.

Last year, the Publicity Committee sold blue t-shirts to promote our church at our Outdoor Concert. They were well received, so this year, we decided to sell them again. The first change is that they are now green! The second addition is that we have children’s sizes available this year! Three young children proudly wear their Got God? t-shirts.

Saturday May 2^nd was the annual United Methodist Women's famous Salad Luncheon. In addition to the ever popular "Red Hat Ladies" and huge assortment of salads, there was a rousing performance by the Big Cedar Bluegrass band.

The children of the church enjoy playing together once a month for the Parents with Young Children (PWYC) fellowship group. And the Dads help clean up at the end! This group celebrates that it is inclusive of all ages.

Another great night of food and fellowship at our Annual Fall Beef Dinner on the 1st. We served over 230 people!

There were also quilts on sale made by members of our congregation.

Chad James Concert

We hosted a free outdoor concert featuring Chad James on Saturday, September 6, 2008. The church had children’s activities and a brat sale. The church’s Contemporary Service band, Reach Out, opened the music portion of the concert. Chad James performed songs off his “Strong” CD and talked to the audience about the challenges of being born with one hand and feeling the call to sing and play guitar to spread his music and his love of God.

Sr. High Mission Trip - Delbarton, WV

21 youth and 5 adults caravaned on a week long mission trip to Delbarton, WV on July 5th, 2008. 4 painted vans & 1 trailer left Oak Creek around 9a - not all the youth were awake yet :-)

There were 4 project teams, which also included churches from VA & WI: Kids Club for local children, 2 houses scraped & painted and the building of a wheelchair ramp.

Brewers Outing

Several congregation members and their friends and family members attended a Milwaukee Brewers Game. The group enjoyed food, fellowship, and fireworks for home runs!
